Supporting Comprehensive Cancer Care Treatment and Care for Patients
Cape Cod Healthcare is the leading provider of healthcare for residents and visitors of Cape Cod. Seaside Le Mans funding will continue to advance Cape Cod Healthcare’s comprehensive cancer programs that provide a full suite of patient services. Unique aspects of Cape Cod Healthcare’s cancer care program include dedicated nutrition, pharmacy, and social services designed to help patients recover physically and emotionally. Cape Cod Healthcare is committed to enhancing the quality of and access to comprehensive healthcare services for all Cape Cod residents.

Expanding Access to the Performing Arts on Cape Cod
Cape Cod Theatre Company/Harwich Junior Theatre, Inc. is a multi-generational, educational, community theatre in their 74th season, offering year-round educational programming and live performances accessible to all. Seaside Le Mans funding will help increase access to live performances, education, mentoring and training, including expansion of the organization’s development pathway for emerging designers and production staff. Cape Cod Theatre Company/Harwich Junior Theatre, Inc. educates empowers and inspires people of all ages and backgrounds to explore their creative talents and foster community through the magic of live theatre.

Ending Childhood Hunger Across Cape Cod
Cape Kid Meals addresses childhood hunger on Cape Cod by providing reliable access to nutritious food for children in need and partnering with schools to support students facing food insecurity.
Funding from Seaside Le Mans will enhance efforts to end childhood hunger across Cape Cod. The organization serves 51 school partners and will use the grant to strengthen existing programs by increasing the number of children receiving support. Cape Kid Meals is dedicated to ending childhood hunger on Cape Cod. Through partnerships with schools, they offer essential programs such as weekend backpack meals, school snacks, and school pantry initiatives.
FISHING FOR THE MISSION 22
Helping Local Veterans in Crisis
Fishing for the Mission 22 raises awareness of the 22 veterans lost to suicide each day in the U.S. They offer therapeutic fishing trips that provide healing and offer mental and behavioral health services.
Seaside Le Mans funding will go toward enhancing mental and behavioral health services and training opportunities for veterans to help them earn captain’s licenses. The grant will help scale the reach of suicide-prevention and vocational-training programs. Fishing for the Mission 22 is dedicated to ending the epidemic of veteran suicide by providing healing, advocacy, and support for our nation’s heroes through fishing and the outdoors.
PARENTS SUPPORTING PARENTS
Supporting Families Coping with Substance Abuse Disorders
Parents Supporting Parents, Inc. is an all-volunteer organization that supports the families of those with substance use disorder through weekly support meetings. The organization also provides support to help people continue their recovery process. Seaside Le Mans funding will support Sober Living Scholarships that are awarded to help defray the cost of sober living for people coming directly from a treatment facility where they have been deemed ready for sober living. Parents Supporting Parents, Inc. is dedicated to advocating and educating families about the disease of substance use disorder while providing resources and peer support with compassion and hope.
Since 2001, Seaside Le Mans has supported 46 charitable organizations on Cape Cod. The Charitable Giving Committee begins the selection process each fall, with beneficiaries announced early in the new year. Seaside Le Mans considers beneficiaries in the areas of Health & Human Services, Social Services and Children’s Organizations and all funding must be invested on Cape Cod.

While there is no formal application process, any interested organizations may fill out the interest form, or email Morgan Dexter. You will be contacted if more information is needed. The committee will review the interest forms, and will also consider many other organizations serving the needs of Cape Codders. You do not need to contact us to be considered as a beneficiary.
